" NCIA is the statutory body responsible for establishing directions, policies and programmes for the Northern Corridor Economic Region (Northern Corridor). NCIA established in 2008 by Malaysia Prime Minister Department. The body is responsible for the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) covering northen peninsula states such as Perlis, Kedah, Penang, and Perak.
